Choosing a coach is an investment of time, energy, and trust. You deserve a coaching relationship where you feel respected, understood, and able to think clearly.

When there is alignment, coaching becomes a space for structured reflection, honest challenge, and meaningful progress.

That’s why I offer a free 30 minute call before we begin. It’s a straightforward practical conversation where we explore what you’re looking for and whether we work well together.

No pressure. No obligation. Just clarity.

Unlock greater insight

  • Every coach has a different style. Here’s what working with me typically feels like:

    • Structured but conversational

    • Challenging but respectful

    • Focused on action, not just insight

    • Calm, steady, and purposeful

    You should feel:

    • Able to think out loud without judgement

    • Gently stretched rather than overwhelmed

    • Responsible for your choices, not directed by me

    • Clearer at the end of the session than at the start

I won’t offer mantras, platitudes, or generic self-help advice. My approach is practical, reflective, and grounded in your real-world context, particularly if you carry responsibility, leadership, or high expectations.

This isn’t a “nice chat.” It’s focused work on your future.

    • Seek to build a relationship that is built in trust not dependency

    • Appreciate a safe, curious, non-judgmental space where you can be fully yourself

    • Value thoughtful, structured conversations with listening based on what’s said and unsaid

    • Want a honest, transparent and ethical practice that respects your autonomy and your pace

    • Are open to supportive but constructive challenge

    • Want accountability without pressure and a lightness of humour to see through tough moments

    • Are willing to take ownership of your decisions supported by compassionate accountability

    • Prefer steady, lasting progress over dramatic changes that fade

    • Value a clear, intentional ending when the work is complete

    • Appreciate no gimmicks, no pressure, no sales funnels

    • Want direct advice or step-by-step instructions

    • Prefer motivational hype over reflection

    • Want someone to tell you what to do

    • Want to offload without self led accountable action

There are many excellent coaches with different styles. The goal is for you to find the one that supports you best even if that isn’t me.

    • Work outside my expertise (I’m not a counsellor or mental health professional)

    • Use cookie‑cutter coaching models

    • Create dependency

    • Make unrealistic promises/ guarantees e.g. ‘increase your revenue by x50% in just 6 months’. I’m not a fortune teller and you’re not a simple maths equation that you need me to help you solve.

    • Bombard you with sales emails

    • Work outside my expertise (I’m not a counsellor or mental health professional)

    • Facilitate dependency

    • Use cookie‑cutter coaching models

    • Make unrealistic promises/ guarantees e.g. ‘increase your revenue by x50% in just 6 months’. I’m not a fortune teller and you’re not a simple maths equation that you need me to help you solve.

    • Bombard you with sales emails

  • If, during our Discovery Call it becomes clear that another coach or type of support would serve you better, I will always say so.

Coaching works best when there is mutual clarity and respect, not persuasion.

  • Coaching tends to work best when you:

    • Bring a genuine desire for change

    • Stay open to examining your assumptions

    • Take responsibility for your choices

    • Speak honestly about what is and isn’t working

It’s a partnership. You bring your commitment; I bring structure, focus, and challenge.
